Having bought the mini pc for about one week. Ubuntu, MPD, LMS and Squeezlite were installed. I have a Daphile system and I found that the sound of flac file (44\/16, 96\/24) for LIVA is much better than my Daphile on EEEPC. The music background playing with MPD and LMS is so “quiet” for LIVA mini pc. However, I can’t find any difference between AC power supply and Li-polymer battery supply.

\nThe testing files is stored locally on LIVA mini pc.\u00a0Comparing the sound for playing flac between MPD and LMS + Squeezelite, LMS is more \u97f3\u6a02\u611f and \u7acb\u9ad4\u611f, \u97f3\u5834\u8f03\u6df1\u548c\u6ff6, \u5206\u6790\u529b\u8f03\u9ad8.
\nConfig is needed to enable MPD and LMS to play DSD by Dop. The DSD sound quality of MPD is not as good as LMS and Daphile on my EEEPC. But the sound quality of all the flac files (MPD and LMS) on this mini pc is much better than Daphile on MY EEEPC. (Maybe my eeepc is too slow and too many electronic components.)

\nStart the synaptics package manager and search “music player daemon” and mark it to be installed. Click apply:

\nSome people would think that WiFi signal affect the music quality so you might not want to start the WiFi function. In fact only RJ45 is needed for connecting the network, such as internet and NAS.
